Welcome and thank you for visiting the Educational Research Group (Interdisciplinary Program of Arts & Design Technology) of Fostering Design Convergence Talent for Human Care's Intelligent Culture & Art Contents as Part of the Stage 4 Brain Korea 21.

The Interdisciplinary Program of Arts & Design Technology aims to foster innovative talents to deal with a variety of industrial and social issues in the convergence of humanities, social sciences, and technologies as part of the Stage 4 BK21 Project sponsored by the Ministry of Education.

In particular, the AI-based art & design technology convergence education and research focus on contribution to resolving local industrial and social issues and promoting balanced national development by fostering the unparalleled innovative talents specializing in planning and production of culture and arts contents.

Comprised of two majors of digital arts and human interaction design, this collaborative program combines intelligent technologies based on cultural arts to educate content planning and production and to conduct research in a variety of areas, including new media arts, interaction design, art marketing, and digital media management through world-class faculties.

In addition to education and research, we seek to tackle a variety of local social issues problems in Gwangju/Chonnam region, including aging, widening gap between rich and poor, crime prevention, and safety through art therapies, which is expected to promote regional solidarity with a sense of community to build a solid foundation for social integration.
