Recently, image-generating AI has received explosive attention in society, and its use is observed in various industries. The purpose of this study is to confirm the possibility that image generation AI will be used as a positive tool in the image production process of the print media content industry and to present strategies. The research process extracted and categorized 30 image generation AI functions through literature research and case analysis of 'image generation AI', and confirmed the pain points experienced by text producers, communication intermediaries, and image producers through pilot interviews and in-depth interviews. The survey contents were analyzed with an affinity diagram and conducted an online survey, and three personas were derived through cluster analysis and a solution was established through HMW methodology. Afterwards, a set of specific image generative AI functions, which used image production stage and user cluster as input variables, was selected through the Co-creation workshop and was written into blueprint. Finally, it proposes three strategies: 'image generation AI as a means of communication', 'image generation AI as an image expert's work efficiency tool', and 'image generation AI as an image generation tool'
